Mat Pilates for Beginners
The perfect introduction to mat Pilates for the beginner, this course is suitable for those over 50 and people new to exercise. Pilates is great for total body conditioning, increasing core stability, correcting muscle imbalances, improving posture, and promoting functional movement, coordination, and balance. We use gravity for resistance in all the exercise. BYO yoga mat and wear comfortable clothing.
*Please note this class is not suitable for people who have difficulty getting down or up from the floor.

Chair Pilates

Gardening
We currently have groups working in our beautiful Railway Garden on Monday, Tuesday, Thursday mornings. The work is light and pleasant and is usually followed by a lovely morning tea.
There will be regular information sessions on gardening practices such as pruning, composting, propagation and planting.

Women’s Exercise
Join personal trainer Jen for small group training sessions for women of all ages and fitness levels.
Have fun and make new friends as you build up your fitness and strength with other women in a peaceful and private environment.
Participants work at their own pace and comfort level using dumbbells, body weight, thera-bands, skipping ropes and mats - with Jen providing support and encouragement along the way!

Monday Grooves
Would you like to kickstart your week with a Monday morning exercise class that is so much more? Do you enjoy music from the 50’s and 60’s era? If so, you will love this class!
Instructor Lianne will take you through the twist, the shake and the mashed potato, and you will get fit, laugh and enjoy a community supported fun-filled class. Interested? Come along on any Monday and try it out for free.
Teacher Lianne Metcalf has over 25 years of experience. She is a qualified somatic therapist and yoga teacher, and is currently doing her Masters in Creative Arts at Deakin University.

Tai Chi – Beginners
Come and learn the basics of this ancient practice, which involves a series of slow gentle movements and physical postures, often described as "meditation in motion". Benefits of Tai Chi have been shown to include a positive effect on muscle strength, flexibility, balance and mental health.

500 Card Group
Fellow 500 players - come and join this friendly group! All levels welcome including the very experienced players to inexperienced players or players who haven’t played for awhile. We’ll get you on your way!
This group is for anyone interested in a fun couple of hours playing 500 and meeting new friends.
The aim of the couple of hours is to have a great time, meet new people, and to hopefully improve your game and memory skills. So if you’re a skilled player come along! But if not we’re happy to teach you the rules and techniques.
No need to bring a 'partner', singles welcome.

Learning Club is a special after-school program which provides extra literacy and numeracy support for primary school-aged children who need it.
