Community Gym Memberships
Cost: $40 for 3 month membership (Concession Card holders)
The membership allows health care card holders access to Yarra Leisure’s recreation sites, including Collingwood Leisure Centre, Fitzroy Swimming Pool and Richmond Recreation Centre. This is a great opportunity for you to enjoy the benefits of the gym at very low cost.
Gentle Chair Yoga
Mondays 11.00am – 12.00pm
Cost: $8 per class
Men and women seeking some gentle exercise and improved health will love this class. Conducted by a yoga teacher trained to work with seniors, this yoga class is conducted sitting down and focuses on improving balance, strength, body awareness, posture and flexibility. Enjoy an hour of peace and tranquility and at the same time improve your health. Suitable for both seniors and younger people new to exercise.
Indoor Exercise Circuit for Women
Mondays and Thursdays 9.45am – 10.30am
For women who don’t like the gym and prefer to exercise in a more discreet and relaxed environment. Come and join Personal Trainer Jen and build up your strength and fitness using a variety of equipment.
Folks on Spokes
Wednesdays 10.00am – 12.00pm
Do you want to get some exercise, meet new people and explore the local area by bike? Then come and join the Folks on Spokes! Novice riders, as well as the more experienced, are welcome and we promise lots of stops on the way! So get on your bike and meet at the Railway House.
Slow Flow Yoga with Nicole
Thursdays 12.30pm – 1.30pm
Extend your lunch break and drop in to Railway House for an hour of relaxation and joy! This yoga class is suitable for people of all levels of yoga ability. Bring your mat or borrow one of ours.
Thursdays 3:00pm – 5:00pm
Table Tennis is a fun, non impact way of exercising that is suitable for all ages and fitness levels. We play doubles and singles games in a friendly, relaxed environment.
